Watercolor Day 5

I drew a three different faces, but I painted this one. I thought my drawing was so pretty. I tried a few different things. I went back to a similar eye I started with and tried a different mouth and some new watercolor and blending methods. Overall, I really do like this soft style.

Self Portrait then and Now

Just a quick pop in to show a self portrait I made in 2003 vs 2021 The common thing on both is I didn’t feel like finishing the hair. Maybe some day I will. That day is not today. I feel like painting a rose. 🙂
